1. Why do people reject convo invitations? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Because everyone I NEED to talk to is on TeamSpeak already?

2. Learning skills: good game design? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Frankly, I think that learning skills should go away. There is nothing fun about having to tell someone they need to spend a month training them before they can train things that they WANT to train. They are a bad design. We probably lose players ...

3. New Dev Blog: I can totally run that on my Amiga - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Originally by: Hikaru Kai It's not CCP's fault the economy is in the tank. Indirectly Americans are to blame for their "woes" since they stupidly voted in a president that ruined not just the economy but pretty much ever aspect of your cou...

4. New Dev Blog: I can totally run that on my Amiga - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Edited by: Eleanor DeAquitaine on 15/01/2009 13:21:44 If shader 2 support is dropped I will be unable to log in on my notebook even to make skill changes which would be very annoying. If the "lite" client is nothing more than the shader 3 gra...

5. STAR TREK Online in Fall 09 - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
From what I've seen of it's development they are still making the same crappy game that Perpetual was. "Everyone's the captain" type BS instead of the intense crew based exploration, problem solving, and such that makes Star Trek. Basically it's ...

7. BoB Strategy - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Eleanor DeAquitaine on 03/08/2008 15:31:59 Bob's strategy is rather obvious... Kill the Russian moon whoring, kill the Russians... The Ruskies will have to turn on their "allies" to take their moons... Maybe even the goons.

8. BoB Strategy - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Bob's strategy is actually quite obvious. They are depriving the Russians of their moon mining empire so they are forced to eat more of their "allies". Which will break up the "Southern Coalition" which really doesn't exist anymore.

10. Ambulation Survey - 1m sent to each participant :) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
My thought is, as a 0.0 player is that the stations/bars/strip clubs will mostly end up as alliance/corp hubs for people to go to socialize, unwind, talk, etc. And a place where we can dump the corpses of our foes on the floor.

11. CSM show your worth (wrt to nano nerf) - in Jita Park Speakers Corner [original thread]
And the worst thing is that no one really wanted to destroy speed and nanos, they want the ability, if they fit for it, to counter it without nanoing themselves... Such as by fixing webifiers... There needs to be a long range but much lower speed...

12. Speed was the only counter to blobbing - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If you go test it, it's rather obvious that this patch isn't even INTENDED as a fix to nanos, it's intended as a fix to avoid dealing with their borked physics engine which apparently can't handle speeds over 6K. That's why they are nerfing liter...

13. Agility nerf on battleships.. and easy preys for titans. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Tried my BS's on Sisi... They maneuver about as well as a brick in the ocean. And it lost about 1/3rd of it's speed. Yep. Alliances that can put multiple titans in a system just got even more overpowered. I guess CCP really does = BOB. This ner...
